Compose one more manufactured landscape image. Save for editing in lab on USB, also post online.
We have been looking at the work of famous portrait photographers and how they creatively capture the context and character of their subjects. Read through the textbook chapter on portraiture. Look at some examples online. Compose 2-3 creative portraits of one family member or friend. Make the lighting great!! Save on usb for editing, post online.
On your stick note, record examples of manufactured landscapes you have been experienced during this week. Bring stick note to next class. Using the photography that you saw in the documentary as inspiration, find a location that is a "manufactured landscape" and artistically compose and post one image to your website. Create a title "....something . manufactured landscape #1". Take time to carefully compose it. Perhaps compose several images and then pick your best to submit. Remember to save your original on your usb stick, bring it to class for editing. If you need help with ideas check out the videos of the "Learning from Professionals" page.
