Impressionism Reborn: Can you paint a fraud?

In the streets of Paris, artists Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, Camille Pissarro, and a few others organized the group during the latter part of 1873 and were subsequently joined by Paul Cezanne, Auguste Renoir, Alfred Sisley and Berthe Morisot.

Using acrylic paint, your task is to pick one of the these artists' paintings and copy it to the best of your ability so that the viewer cannot tell which painting is a fraud!!  You will also write a 200 word description giving the viewer the story behind the painting. Make this interesting to read, don't bore me by cutting and pasting bunch of words from wikipedia.

Here is the catch, you will be painting this on a large scale with a group of 3 - 4 people.

You will be evaluated on how well you copy:   the original artist's style of paint strokes,      use of light and shadow,      colour pallet,      rendering of subjects,      composition,    and show that you know the story behind the painting.
