Start planning your theme and your subject for your photography show in the end of January. I want you to connect what you learn from other photographers to your own photography. To help you with your theme and subjects for your photography show, choose one of the photographers on the "Learning from Professionals" page under Art How To's / Photography Resources. Answer the following questions about them and their work, and post your answers on your projects page on your website.

Their Name?

Describe their work in your own words? What do you see? Why do you like it? What feelings / thoughts does it evoke in you? (5)

What story or message do you think they are communicating with their work? (3)

Choose three of their photographs and for each photo answer the following:
Name the subject in each photo. (3)

How are they visually communicating their message? For example do they use hard lines, concentric circles, texture, contrasting colour, perspective, symmetry etc. (6)

Tell us about the photographer:
Where are they from?    What country do they work in?     (2)

How did they get started in photography as a carrier? (2)

How would you label their work? (photo journalism, landscape, street photography, commercial, staged etc) (2)

Post your answers to your website. INCLUDE A LINK TO THE PHOTOGRAPHER'S WEBSITE WITH YOUR POST

Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
