What is expected from our art students?
Art students are expected to follow the school's code of conduct and work to develop positive work habits described in the Burnsview Work Habits Ruberic here bu.deltasd.bc.ca/sites/default/files/WorkHabitsRubricPosterSize.pdf
Specific Expectations of art students include:
- Leave your work area in the studio clean before you leave the studio. This shows respect to other artists who use the studio. This includes but is not limited to: wiping down your work space, cleaning your paint brush and pallet, storing your work in the assigned location in the studio.
- Return all studio media and tools to their proper storage location before you leave.
- Use all tools and media in a safe manor
- Any studio tools owned by the school MUST be signed out with the art teacher before leaving the studio, and must be signed in when returned
- Use your PED (personal electronic device) ONLY for purposes that relate directly to your learning in art class. For examples: web research on artists, collecting reference images, note taking, submitting art class assignments.
